Investment Casting Services & Capabilities

The investment casting process offers lower costs, greater design freedom, and the largest selection of alloys.

EASIAHOME can cast over 180 non-ferrous and ferrous alloys. We offer one of the widest selections of alloys in the industry, from aluminum to stainless steel to tool steel to high temperature alloys such as inconel and cobalt based alloys.

We commonly use alloys such as the following materials.

  • Stainless steels
  • High temperature stainless steels
  • Carbon steels
  • Low alloy steels
  • Duplex alloys
  • Precipitation Hardening
  • Monel alloys
  • Nickel-based
  • Abrasive/tool steels
  • Copper-nickel alloys
  • Iron
  • Aluminum
  • Cobalt-based
  • Brass / Bronze

Our foundry can make castings up to 20 x 20 x24 inches in size.

EASIAHOME can accept these CAD file formats.

  • AutoCAD (DWG)
  • BMP
  • DXF
  • GIF
  • Graphics Interchange Format
  • IGES
  • Initial Graphics Exchange
  • JPG or JEPG
  • Joint Photographic Experts Group
  • PDF
  • STP or STEP
  • STL
  • TIFF
  • Tagged Image File Format

Our process will maintain a linear tolerance of +- 0.005 inch per inch.

The investment casting process is designed to accommodate tight tolerances and provide accuracy and repeatability. All castings produced by our foundry have dimensional tolerances that meet industry standards. We can also customize our production to meet the industrial standards of our customers’ countries.

While investment casting is typically more expensive than other casting processes and forgings, investment casting greatly reduces the overall cost of metal parts by reducing machining or welding and possible material waste.

Yes. Just a 3-D model is all that is needed to produce parts without the time and cost investment of traditional tooling. We have been producing rapid prototypes for over a decade and have experience with many different part configurations and prototype materials.

Investment Casting Tooling

No, but in the right quantities, machined aluminum molds are a cost effective solution and relatively inexpensive compared to die casting or metal injection molding.

Aluminum split molds or tools are manufactured to produce a wax likeness of the part, while ceramic molds are manufactured around the wax likeness.

No, the molds are owned by the customer for their exclusive use, but are maintained by EASIAHOME.

Production and Lead Time

As a fabricator, we have the ability to supply one or two parts or fill thousands of orders. Because each casting varies in size, alloy and requirements, EASIAHOME uses a minimum shipping lot charge.

Prototypes take 24 to 48 hours and production parts take 10 business days or less.

Firstly, all our engineers and technicians have rich theoretical and practical experience, secondly, we will set up strict quality control procedures for each production step, and when our samples are finished, we will test the samples ourselves, and we can also provide dimensional and material reports, in addition, the samples can also be sent directly to our customers for inspection, and if there are any quality problems, we will resend to If there is any quality problem, we will resend it to you until it is passed.

Yes, we can do our own machining after casting. For detailed information on the machining equipment, please click here.

If a new mold is required, samples will be available within 6 to 8 weeks. After sample approval, production castings can be supplied within 8 to 10 weeks for commercial projects and 10 to 15 weeks for aerospace projects.

100% of the mold cost is paid in advance with the order by T/T, 30% of the production cost is paid by T/T after our samples are approved, and the remaining 70% is paid after you receive a copy of the faxed bill of lading

The production cost of investment castings can change due to many factors. Currently in China, the cost of producing investment castings is increasing. This increase is caused by several reasons, such as increased raw material costs, increased labor costs, etc. You can learn more by clicking on “Factors causing the increase in the price of investment castings”.

Yes. We are always available to give our clients, new or existing, a full tour of our facilities. Our tours are accompanied by the person best suited to handle your business inquiry so that you can receive the best possible explanation and professional service. We will also provide you with refreshments. If you would like to visit our factory, please contact us.

One of the company’s main goals is to establish itself as an environmentally friendly team. We are constantly exploring new measures to minimize waste and reduce pollution. To this end, we are in the process of developing an environmental policy that will enable us to meet ISO 14001 standards in the near future.

Whether it involves aluminum, stainless steel or other alloys, our lost wax investment casting process provides a cost effective and efficient solution in terms of

  • Design flexibility and near net shape capability
  • Excellent repeatability and dimensional control
  • Wide range of casting alloys
  • Economical use of expensive alloys
  • High strength and durability
  • Better appearance than element, forgings and sand castings
  • Excellent surface finish (typically 60 – 100 RMS)
  • Potential weight reduction
  • Reduced part count, minimizing assembly operations
  • Reduced secondary machining
  • Cast-in part numbers, markings and other identification
  • Cost-effective tooling
  • Cost-effective alternative to forging and die casting in lower volumes

Our capabilities include investment casting, heat treating, non-destructive testing, and more to provide a complete solution for your project. Request a quote today or contact us to discuss your unique needs.
